The Transfer to Degree Guarantee helps students who have earned credit in two-year and four-year colleges find the shortest path to a degree.
Your college credit may apply to a degree in three ways:
-
General education requirements – academic courses in English and Oral Communications, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and Mathematics make up each institution's general education requirements, totaling 36-40 semester hours. A student with successfully completed general education courses at one Ohio public college or university listed in the search can apply the credit similarly toward general education requirements at any other Ohio public institution of higher education.
-
Guaranteed transfer-to-degree pathways – allows you to transfer, in simple and direct ways, a core of credits that count toward your chosen major. Use this page to determine what credits will transfer.
-
Credit When It’s Due (CWID) – an initiative designed to award associate degrees to eligible students who transferred to a 4-year institution without completing a degree. To find out if you are eligible view the frequently asked questions.
