Transfer Assurance Guides (TAGs) provide guaranteed transfer credit for specific pre-major and beginning major coursework. TAG courses allow you to complete and transfer courses to fulfill requirements for your intended degree program.

What You Need to Know

• If you are planning to transfer from one Ohio public college or university to another, TAG courses will guarantee transfer of pre-major and beginning major coursework in your intended major. TAG courses will also enable you to achieve your bachelor's degree in a timely and efficient manner.
• Upon transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at an Ohio public institution of higher education, TAG-approved coursework taken may transfer toward the completion of a bachelor’s degree in a related major.
• Completion of a TAG course does not guarantee that you will fulfill specific program requirements for your major. You should review related Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways and consult with your academic advisor to ensure that you are selecting courses that are appropriate for your specific intended major and degree program.
